Men's rights issues

A selection of items and information sources about the issues of concern to men

Consider some examples of - the good news, the bad news, or the really bad news.

So that you can understand - what needs to be done to restore our society.

Have you noticed the 'domestic violence' crusade ? Here's some background.

Domestic Violence - part of The Big Lie of our time

Another current feminist crusade is to provide 'work of equal value with equal pay',

so feminists have asked for a 're-evaluation' of women's work. Value of women's work

And have you noticed that women can sue employers, and receive compensation for loss of work.

The nett result is that they receive money without working for it - Getting something for nothing

Have you noticed the options which women have ? - Multiple options for women

Melanie Phillips descibes the judicial corruption of Parliament's principles, without the public or Parliament being consulted or even informed. This issue is central to men's rights within the family.

An advertisement for the Post Office in the Daily Telegraph

showing the 60/65 discrimination in pension and associated rights

What is the feminist agenda ? How well organised are their groups ?

Look no further - here are just a few examples.

There is little if anything on these publications and sites which is concerned with our society's well-being. Only women's rights. If they publish such material in the press and on the websites etc, imagine what they say in the privacy of their meetings.

A collection of feminist rantings and their demands. E.g. the Society for Cutting Up Men (SCUM) is listed here on the Network Critique of Feminism.

Read Susan Van Scoyoc's 21st Century bill of rights for mothers, it will tell you all about feminist logic.

And one of the latest issues to be 'hyped' using lies - is domestic violence. This reference was described as "The mother of all DV sites is at http://www.domesticviolencedata.org/ run by Prof. Elizabeth Stanko and funded by the Staples Trust.Do not read if you are of a nervous disposition."

Women are better organised in the USA. Here's a link to one of the most 'vociferous' groups, with 500,000 contributing members - take a look at the 'Chapter and State Contacts' pages, and you will understand how just how well organised they are compared with men's groups. The USA's National Organisation for Women (NOW) (off-site link). And here is NOW's response to USA 'Fathers Count Bill', illustrating the intensity of their reaction to any support for fathers.

You could also look at the Feminista journal (off-site link), and The Liz Library Collection/Liznotes (off-site link), both of which are eye-openers for the uninitiated.

Another example is the National Women's Studies Association (NWSA) (off-site link), which has, as their main concern, the influencing of educational courses on women's studies. Look for example at their 'Ethics Policy' : if you are new to all of this, read the extract below, then consider what "racism, heterosexism, classism" has got to do with women's rights, as men could be equally affected by them, and how these could contribute to the "oppressive institutions" they are concerned with.

"It is important that as an organization that we adopt ethical guidelines that will govern our behavior. We recognize that there are many feminisms. Even though we agree that we would like to see a world free of any oppressive institutions and behaviors, that is not the world that we live in now. We also recognize that feminists disagree on how to achieve such a world. To say that we will behave in ways unaffected by sexism, racism, heterosexism, classism, etc. is to ignore our circumstances. In Lesbian Ethics (Palo Alto: Institute of Lesbian Studies, 1988), Sarah Hoagland encourages us to create an ethics that is more than a set of inflexible rules because we live in a world that is oppressive in so many critical ways. Therefore, our ethics policy will consist of guidelines and things to think about rather than a rigid structure of rules."

Are you aware of the various injustices against men ?

Examples appear regularly in the press each week. You will easily be able to find other examples - if you find one that's worth bringing to our attention, please do that. We've space here only for a few, so we've chosen some glaring examples.

Education and training courses for women only - but only for the better jobs. A letter from a member of the public.

Innocent men don't get protection in court under matrimonial and family law. A regular occurrence.

Here's an article from The Daily Telegraph of 7 May 1999. Whether or not you had any doubts before, you won't have any after reading this. The woman in this case made 175,000 from a man she had treated in an uncivilised manner. The judges in the Court of Appeal, in their 'wisdom', rather than make her pay him compensation, forced him to give her 175,000. An obscene judgement by any standards. An obscene matrimonial case.

And here's an example of a woman placed above the law. She killed her husband during marriage difficulties. Despite the fact that she would have complete protection under matrimonial law, in fact would have privileges and priorities that men don't have, she decided to take the law into her own hands and kill her husband. What was the law's reaction to that ? - to let her off ! The article doesn't tell us if she obtained all of her dead husband's assets - she may well have done. The lesson for women - kill him, it's OK. A wife above the criminal law.

Here's an article from a top divorce lawyer. Just occasionally the truth comes out. This lawyer describes the real role of lawyrers, and the encouragement given to women, and the persecution given to men. It raises the question as to how lawyers have been able to get away with it for so long. A top divorce lawyer gives testimony.

False allegations about criminal and matrimonial behaviour are regularly made against men and in large numbers. Here are some stories illustrating the situation. A judge suggests one measure to protect men and is immediately attacked by women's groups. False allegations by women.

False rape allegations are well known in the matrimonial area. Here's a single case from the USA (off-site link).

Excess Winter Mortality is the increase in deaths caused by winter conditions. It's worse for men than women.

An article from An Phoblacht/Republican News about young male suicides in Ireland.

Are you the real father ? Women who cheat on their husbands.

Are you aware of how women behave after 30 years of 'women's lib' and rampant feminism ?

Below are some examples of women's behaviour.

An extract from The Sex Change Society: Feminised Britain and the Neutered Male by Melanie Phillips.

Women behaving disgracefully

When the mother gets custody of the children the father simply has to accept this, or try an application to the Court of Appeal. But when a father gets custody, women don't accept it. An ex-wife who didn't get custody : first abducts the children, and second has the nerve to demand a 'full inquiry' from the UK Home Secretary.

Here's a website in Australia (one of the most feminised societies on earth) which shows how well organised they are - the contents clearly supporting women's rights and deliberately against men's. The issues of the common good and the health of our societies are irrelevant to them. As an example of their attitude, look at the 'Leaving' pages which give advice on how to get rid of a husband/partner.

The representation of women and women's issues is unbalanced, and there's no limit to how far they will go to progress their dubious agendas.

The situation we face is normal throughout the Western World. Here's a selection of stories and reports.

Here's a story from Finland about the press reporting of two murders.

And a magazine article from the USA which for once tells some of the truth.

Also a newspaper report from Ireland which is refreshingly accurate.

And another newspaper report from Ireland which needs no explanation.

Also a newspaper report from Australia on the marginalisation of men.

And a report from Spain again which needs no explanation.

A message from a colleague in Spain about conditions there.

And conscription to the armed forces in Greece is yet another aspect of discrimination against men.

And we can see how laws are made in Canada, just as they are here, by an unelected minority.

We go off-site for this information from the USA : Suicide rates in the USA (off-site link).

The Masculist Perpective : A Masculist Response to Feminist Claims

by Craig Conway of UKMM and FNF

Interesting abridged material from this book

It's worth considering the real cost of men. Forget the feminist propaganda, here's some facts.

What are men worth ?                                     What's a dad worth ?

The really bad news

In this section, we wish to illustrate, to the people, some of the degenerate activities which are going on. We do this under the headings which we consider are appropriate to the situation we find :

Name them and shame them : we identify examples of those who, we believe, are responsible for many of the issues of concern to UKMM.
Nonsense in the press & media : there are so many untruths in the press and media, we are not surprised at public confusion.
Suppression of the facts : we can now report several cases of deliberate suppression of the facts and/or intimidation etc, by the press/media and authorities in the UK.
The bewildered : examples of those who seem simply not to comprehend what is going on.

What needs to be done

We believe that men's rights issues need to be addressed in an uncompromising manner.

Here are our proposals, under each of the areas of concern:

  • feminist influence in policy and law making

  • miscellaneous

  • matrimonial & family law
