I have been asked to post details of the forthcoming protests.
The jailing of Mark Harris has angered campaigners beyond belief and will result in increasing the number and frequency of protests. Leaflet about Mark and demonstration(s).
It is important that the number of attendees is increased at these protests. Please make every effort to attend.

SOUTHAMPTON DEMO for Equal Parenting

This demo is to draw attention to the total failure of the Family Courts to safeguard the contact interests of children in contested cases.
Particular focus is on local man SHAUN O'CONNELL who is a specialist teacher of disturbed children and a wonderful father who has been deprived of all contact with his children because the Family Court bent over backwards to believed the untruths of the mother.
And another wonderful father MARK HARRIS from the South West who is in Pentonville Prison serving a barbaric sentence for waving at his children (and thereby breaching an injunction). The judge was in fact punishing him for organising protests outside judges houses. After 114 hearings Mark's contact has been reduced to zero.
Shaun has done a fantastic job with the media and has already had two great articles in the local papers.
1. Meet 12 noon at Ocean Village, Southampton (by FCWS offices)
2. 12.30 move to West Quay Shopping Centre.
3. Please dress in as much purple as possible. Purple flags and other props will be provided. (Purple is the colour for EQUALITY - equality in the Family Court.)
4. Banners should be moderate in language e,g. "Equal Parenting" or strong on a children's rights theme. Positive, clever messages are better than critical or angry ones.
5. Please bring a 2-3 sentence message about your case, which can be read out over loudhailer as typical of our problems. (Or email to "anson@euphony. net" by Friday night.)
6. 3pm meet at "Oast and Squire" pub, The Avenue, Fareham. From there we demonstrate outside a leading judge's house.

Please get a few extra people to come with you. This is the best possible way of getting exposure of the grave injustices of the Family Courts, both to the judges and to the public through the media.
