Multiple options for women
We believe that women have several options in life, which men just don't share :
- to have a career
- to get married and be supported
- to get married and pregnant, and be supported by the state and the father, while being a
wife to the father
- to get married and pregnant, desert the father, yet be still be supported by the state
and the father, and without having any obligations towards the father
- to remain single, get pregnant, yet still be supported by the state and the father,
without returning anything to society, without being someone's wife, and without having
any obligations towards the father.
On the other hand, the vast majority of men have two stark options :
- to have a career
- not to have a career, and live in poverty.
Despite these options for women, feminist groups often force the issue that women are
discriminated against in employment, and demand fully equal treatment in this area, i.e.
in their option #1.
But in the employment area, if we compare like with like, is that true ? The article
below suggests not.
