Value of women's work

Feminists have asked for a re-evaluation of women's work. And the current crusade is to provide 'work of equal value with equal pay'. Guess which direction - upwards of course !

We've seen many calls for better conditions for women. Here's an example of clear calls that selected women's work should be re-evaluated i.e. they should be paid more.

The principle that salaries should be determined by market forces is ignored. In other words some communist principles should determine salaries for women, But who will do the re-evaluation ?

And it is linked to their crusade to recognise 'work of equal value with equal pay'. Again, who is going to decide what is of equal value ?

Comment : Isn't this the sort of argument used by communist regimes in the early 1900s ?
